SlumberPod Cares

Your purchase makes a difference.

Our SlumberPod team is like a family  and some of us actually are family! It’s important for us to support one another and give back in meaningful ways. Each quarter, we donate a portion of our proceeds to causes chosen by our team members.

To date, we have donated

Featured causes who benefited
from SlumberPod Cares:

For Q1 2021, Katy from our team chose Nana Grants, in honor of her mother (and our Co-Founder), Lou. The Nana Grants formula is simple: Child Care + Education = Economic Mobility. Their goal is to remove the uncertainty of continuous, quality child care from the equation so that student mothers can focus on their studies, graduate and have a rewarding, well-compensated career. Lou’s own journey as a single mother when her children were young connects her with this cause in a personal way. Thanks to your purchases, we are able to support single mothers pursuing college degrees.

Lou chose The Marcus Autism Center for the team’s Q2 donation. This not-for-profit’s mission is to maximize the potential of children with autism today and transform the nature of autism for future generations.

As one of the largest autism centers in the U.S. and one of only five National Institutes of Health (NIH) Autism Centers of Excellence, Marcus Autism Center offers families access to the latest research, comprehensive testing and science-based treatments. With the support of your purchase, we are able to support the Marcus Center reach their goal of helping all kids with autism live happier, healthier lives.

For Q3's team donation, Mae chose Circle of Friends by First Baptist Church of Salisbury, NC. This charity is near and dear to Mae's heart because her sister-in-law has Down Syndrome.

"This program at a local church provides a safe place for people with all types of disabilities to have time to socially interact with each other and make friends. Pre-COVID times, they would meet once a week in the evenings and play games, do crafts, learn, and all in all have a great time with each other. They even got to go to Happiness Retreat and camp for two nights in the summer!  During these times now, they zoom weekly in the evenings and still get to see each other. The members who run the group have still been celebrating each and every person, on birthdays they’ll come decorate the yard and leave gifts, have a drive through trick or treat, a drive through valentines party, and etc! They really are a blessing to everyone who has a chance to participate in the club! Circle of Friends is allowing my SIL, Sydney, with the chance to feel normal. It allows her to engage, socialize, and feel connected to others. This is even more important now as she’s having to stay home to stay safe." Thanks to your purchases, we are able to support young adults with intellectual disabilities and help them build one-on-one, personal and meaningful relationships.

For Q4 2021, Lindsey from our team chose The Children's Hospital at Piedmont Columbus Regional, in honor of her son Michael who was born there in 2020. The Children's Miracle Network (CMN) at Piedmont Columbus Regional helps support the pediatric emergency department, the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), and all other pediatric areas of Piedmont Columbus Regional.  Thanks to your purchases, we are able to support the hospital to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.

For Q1 2022, an important contractor of our team chose Keystone Village, a not-for-profit enterprise that will create a residential community to serve intellectually and developmentally disabled adults for a lifetime.  Thanks to your purchases, we are able to support this relatively new organization create forever homes for special needs adults.

Thank YOU for helping us donate to these organizations and for all the ones we select in the future. Be sure to check back every quarter and/or follow us on social media to see where we've made additional donations.

Hi. Saw your product through a few social media discounts. We are first time parents to a 10 month old and going on our first out of state family vacation next month. We were wondering if you guys are offering any discounts or product testing opportunities at the moment? We would love to try out the slumberpod for our son. Thank you.
